Geysers Galore!

Today we drove through Yellowstone National Park.  We were here about 5 years ago and didn't see that many geysers other than Old Faithful.  At that time we drove on every road in the park to get an overview of the park.  So this time we decided since we only had a partial day, to hit some geysers.  Here's some photos....enjoy, I sure did!

Don't even ask me how I got these flowers in front of Old Faithful.

Old Faithful

The Cliff Geyser

Remarkable how close flowers grow to steaming and spewing geysers and springs.

Run off from the springs and geysers go into  this river.

Excelsior Geyser Crater

Patterns

The Grand Prismatic Spring....disappointed as the photos I've seen are shown from up above (plane or high hill) and I could not get anything of the sort.

Firehole Springs

White Dome Geyser

Five years ago we went to Yellowstone and saw a Western section ravished by Wildfire and it looked similar to this current Eastern section of the park.

Today that same Western section looks like this.  Regrowth in Progress!

Here's a couple photos of the Firehole River and Falls.
