We had these two plate-sized pastries for Breakfast.
Mendocino is a place I heard about 30 + years ago when I lived in California and one time came within 10 miles of here, but never have seen it. It was settled in 1850's by New England natives and many homes were built with a New England style. Many are still functioning and usable. Please note, it was typical morning fog and clouds when we were here.
Also, saw some type of "lily" that seems to be a wild flower out there. Notice the driftwood flowers in this yard too!
A view of the part of the town on the cliffs of the Pacific.
We drove through more Redwoods and went to a Petrified Forest of Redwoods.
Then onto Napa Valley, stopping at Beringer Vineyards, one the oldest vineyards in the Valley. Stocked up on a good bargain of six bottles of wine with carrier bag for $34.
Just like these fruits of the labor are beautiful and tasty....we too are enjoying the fruits of our labors. Join me in toasting the Good Life!
