So much to see and do, so little time!

A quick blog before we go to a Broadway play and then dinner with hubby's brother and their niece.

Here's a photo of the "stoops" in New York.

The tallest church in the United States - Riverside Church

They really do have stairs on the outside of their buildings

Another neat example of architecture

Only in New York....or Colorado or California or Oregon!

Example of more architecture

We found out via tour guide on bus that the reason buildings have smaller square footage as they go up is to allow more air and light to get to lower floors.  It's the law in New York (1916).

Top of the Rock Observation Room re-opened in 2005.... here's a view of Central Park

Empire State building and lower Manhattan.

Museum of Natural History.... we basically speed read through this place....HUGE!  Here's the prehistoric ancestor to deer, moose and elk.

Sequoia tree cut that was over 1000 years old.

The museum was a "whale" of a place....here's a humpback in the main gallery!

Last, but not least....this photo is of ancient carving of a woman.  I guess my DNA genes did NOT progress with humanity.  This is my body shape totally!  Oh well!  I guess I could look like the whale.
